Hospice Thornhill volunteers are special individuals who generously give of their time and compassion. Our Volunteers are carefully screened and selected ensuring that we achieve the right “fit” for between client and caregiver.

Training is provided and there are many opportunities available within Hospice Thornhill for volunteers to make a difference.

Volunteers are needed to:

• Take clients to medical appointments, short shopping trips.
• Provide in-home support to Palliative Clients.
• Assist with the Hospice Thornhill Day Program.
• Provide Client telephone support.
• Provide Administrative office support.
• Work on committees to support planning and working committees for Hospice events.
• Assist with all Hospice Thornhill programs and services.
